Do like the idea of polls though, adds a little bit of simple interaction. I particularly like the vector graphic of the grunge chick licking a lolly. Not sure why they chose that image but it sorta works (well, it does for me anyway!) I've been contemplating placing some polls on my site but my design is very rigid and wasn't designed with adding other stuff, which is part of the reason I'm going for a massive redesign - not just to accommodate polls but other stuff too.
