The sponsored polls is an interesting idea too.
I've just watched the video on the FB developers section.

http://developers.facebook.com/videos.php

Fascinating stuff, the figures are quite staggering. They've surpassed eBay in visitor numbers and have set their sight on overtaking Google.

I was reading somewhere recently that FB has 60 million users, compared with Google mail's 79 million. I know they're different things but how long has Facebook been going?

The secret lies in their 'social graph', apparently ;-)

Agreed Garri, I can only really see the use for consumer markets. As popular as Facebook is, the key users are still going to be the same (I think) as the Myspace users, etc. and B2B won't work.

I'm itching to try this out too. I've noticed a few popping up here and there making a refreshing change from the ads for phone smileys etc.

I wrote and asked one flyer advertiser how effective he thought it was and got a quick reply: not very effective. But then he was selling e-Office space and perhaps the market for that is limited.

It certainly caught my attention, the format that is.

Hi Rod, I think it may be new (as in a few weeks old). Access it the same as the Flyers but they have a little heading off to Flyers Pro now.

I certainly did not use Pro. Is it new?

I was given really limited targeting abilities. What network, what age, and I think, what gender. The age ranges were limited too. And no workplace.

The form you show above is way cooler. And I think it would be much more effective.
