Marketing is a work in progress

in marketing

I’m not perfect. My website is not perfect. My business is not perfect. But, I’d like think I am working on all three in a live environment.

If you wait for your marketing to be perfect, you’ll never quite make it and just when you think it is perfect, the rules will change.

Work live.

So true Craig. I’m about to launch a new site and will resist the temptation of hiding behind the word ‘beta’. My whole life has been in beta!

Having had to deal with some detractors and negative criticism of my main website, my reply was: it’s a website, nothing is set in stone.

It’s actually refreshing getting negative comments once in a while because a lot can be learned from them, and everything helps refine and improve the service.

Give me more negative comments please, I love ‘em!

Of course, the trick in dealing with negative stuff is to not take it personally and see it as an opportunity to spark some improvements.

That of course is the added bonus Garri - free feedback!
